About us
Vision and purpose
We realise that traveling /backpacking is more than just a physical
journey but also a spiritual one. We want to see that journey
people take being a journey into knowing who they are in God and
living out their full purpose in Him.

Mission The mission of FaithTravels is a three-pronged approach:
Faith Travels Network - To unite a global network of churches and faith Christian organizations committed to sharing Jesus to the world through travelers.
Faith Travelers - To inspire, challenge and equip Christians to grow in their intimacy with God, help them discover God’s purpose for their lives & share their faith with others as they travel.
Seeking Travelers - To bring the truth of Jesus to a searching generation as they travel the world and provide a network to support their faith journey no matter where they are.
Our values
- We believe Jesus is the answer to a searching generation
- We believe in the unity of the body of Christ and that we have been given the ministry of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:20)
- We value the support & accountability of the local church
- We believe in living in submission to God’s word & the importance of prayer
- We value knowing and glorifying God in every facet of life
- We believe that mission is a way of life: ‘Mission is not merely an activity of the church. It is the very heart beat and work of God’ (A. Hirsch).
- We believe in loving and valuing people: “to engage in the very rhythms and life of a host culture, to genuinely listen to their hopes and fears” (M. Frost, A. Hirsch)
Our approach to mission
- Sharing our faith out of the overflow of an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ
- Cultivating a heart that is sensitive to hearing and obeying the voice of God
- Focus on relationships and everyday experiences
- Earn the right to be heard by loving and authentic friendships
- Focus on building the Kingdom of God, through networking Christian communities throughout the world
