Testimonies - Backpackers share their story

You will inevitably find backpackers sitting round an open fire, in the camp kitchen or the hostel sharing stories of their travels, telling tales about life on the road. It is not just about reaching the final destination, getting there is half the fun, the all-important journey.

We have collected some of those stories, from backpackers who share the same desire for new experiences and the same passion for travelling and discovering new things about themselves and about the world they live in. However, as you read their stories you will realise that travelling isn’t the be-all and end-all for these backpackers. Their stories will demonstrate that the search for adventure only partially satisfies and they discover that they are actually searching for something far deeper, more meaningful and long lasting. Several of them were surprised by what they found - you might be too!
