Maranatha House of Prayer (MHOP) is an interdenominational Evangelical Protestant retreat center that offers the global nomadic youth culture a place to find renewal. We are a House of Prayer and and Ancient-Future Faith Community.

Our mountainside location in southern Hungary has and oversize garden allowing guests to prayer, study, dialog in small groups, rest, play sports, hike or mountain bike the trails in the Mecsek National Forest, walk to Lake Dombay for a swim, or enjoy many of the other nearby attractions. We are also just one block away form the St. Martin Pilgrimage Trail and two blocks from a 1,000 year old Benedictine monastery.

MEKDZS, YWAM, World Racers, Wheaton College, Fellowship of the Heart pastors support group, and groups and individuals from Reformed Church, Catholic, Baptist, Methodist, Lutheran, Pentecostal, Charismatic, and Calvary Chapel.

This is our longer-term discipleship program designed to offer volunteers workers, backpackers, and student groups a chance to get Deeply Rooted in Christ (Colossians 2:6-7).
