Faith Travels

Where's yours taking you?

Yes, that's right. I have a hunch that I will be entering the "Promised Land" rather than travelling in Wilderness very soon. I am headed to Hamilton right now. More accurately Matamata. My biggest highlight is definitely staying in Tauranga at Faith Bible College. He totally did a number on me and everyone there.

When I came I was thinking about heading to Hamilton. However God opened the door for me to come to Auckland for a few days. I knew that after I was invited i would be praying about it - On Saturday I departed from Faith without knowing how the day was going to go. It may come as a surprise but even though I've been led by the Spirit and had to give up everything (it's nothing compared to what Jesus gave up) i still struggle with giving my finances over to God. But I guess that's a part of being human, and God being God :) In our weakness we are truly able to be all that God has called us to be because it says "My Grace is Sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness" because we're free to be ourselves. Keep on giving everything to God. There's no way he'll ever get you to give up anything that he hasn't given up. And if we're giving up, who are we giving up to? Like it says "Aaah.... the Goodness of God" it doesn't actually. But in Mark it says "those who produce a crop 30, 60 and 100x what is sown are those who hear the Word of God and accept it, and bear fruit"

So I continue to look forward not knowing what to expect however every day brings new challenges and discoveries.

My time in Auckland has been a refresher spot. I have visited a Church in North Shore called "Hisway church" which have services at 10am and 5:30pm and an intercession meeting on Monday nights at 7:30pm. From the moment I arrived I knew that God's presence was there. Within 5 minutes I felt right at home and part of the family. That's amazing really. I would like to come back sometime when possible.

In God's way, he has raised me up as a leader the only way he can. John 3:8 "You do not know where the wind comes from or where it is going, so is the Man who is born of the Spirit" I look forward to sharing my journies with people when I arrive back on softer soil
